About Me

Thanks for visiting my website! I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember, starting as a young child putting together stories and newsletters. I knew it was my passion so I studied journalism and in 2002 I went into the corporate world, writing proposals and marketing pieces for my career and creative articles on the side. Through my freelance journey I was introduced to many non-profits in the greater Sacramento area, which led to discovering the types of articles that were so fulfilling — people sharing their stories to ultimately help others.

During the pandemic I have focused on writing articles related to tweens and teens, including how music has played an important part of their life, what to watch for in regards to their mental health and what types of unique activities they have become involved in during this time.
